Although he studied teaching, he soon realized that his restless spirit and initiative wouldn't allow him to stay confined to a school classroom. And so, his rural culture, instilled by his parents who were farmers, brought him back to the land.

'Starting a business in the countryside is not easy, especially when the trend is more towards developing the tourism business, but I am very proud to generate industry, economy and jobs in my land, thus preventing the depopulation of the villages of the upper Axarquía.'

He believed so much in his project that his company endorsed with his own name'Call me pretentious or crazy, if you want. I named my company after myself, for better or for worse. I've always thought it best to support it with my name. And since everything has worked out, it's a source of pride that it bears my name, and also my father's, and now my son's as well.'
